University Guest Lecturer

Paddy has given guest lectures at numerous Universities and Colleges throughout the UK including Central Saint Martins, London College of Fashion, Manchester Metropolitan University, Leeds University and the University of the Highlands and Islands, Elgin. His lecture programme covers his own diverse career path over 20 years of development as an artist, designer, curator and educator. He also discusses how to be successful as an arts professional, dealing with self marketing, fundraising and dealing with galleries, giving down to earth no-holds-barred advice and guidance as to how to survive the early years as an arts graduate and lay the foundations for a successful career in the creative industries.

Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator Personal/Group Tutoring:  Entry Level and Intermediate

Paddy has delivered art education events at Museums and Galleries across the UK for over 15 years, most notably, for the Victoria & Albert Museum since 2000. Since 2008 he has been the resident Photoshop tutor for the V&A Digital Programme based in the Sackler Center. Paddy also delivers this tuition to private individual clients and small groups at the home or place of work of the client, specialising in entry-level tuition on both PC and Mac. His tuition is aimed at covering all the essential tools across all versions of Photoshop including Photoshop Elements and can guarantee enabling even the most hesitant Photoshop novice with the confidence to experiment and edit their photographs.

Paddy also delivers tuition in Adobe Illustrator to both private and corporate clients, specifically geared around fashion flat generation and entry level learning. He has delivered training to a number of corpotarte clients in the fashion industry including Lagenes in Kentish Town and AquabyAqua based in Haggerston.

Artist Mentoring

Paddy has delivered artist mentoring for a number arts groups and individuals, most notably the Bradford based organisation FABRIC. His one-to-one analysis and response to artists seeking to take their practice to the next level has proved invaluable in their artistic development through in-depth, yet informal surgeries over an agreed period.
